I can hardly keep my eyes open!!!

Feeling very exhausted so I will keep this one very short.

Have made a start begging for Auction Lots so wish me luck with follow up call and hope everyone will be really generous and I will have some real show stoppers for the night (just to remind you it's 12th July 2015) have already secured a spa day for 2 at The Bath Spa Hotel so that's a good start.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you or anyone you know would be able to donate any Auction Lots.

Just waiting for confirmation of dates for a Flower Demonstration at the new Civic Centre in Keynsham which will be mid June. The hall will hold between 40 and 50 people so please start spreading the word.

Well that's about as much as I can manage, off to bed now.

Another hectic week of organising and training!

Finally got to see Kelston Round Hill on a fine day, very disappointed you can't walk amongst the trees any more!! The views were spectacular although it was a bit hazy but well worth the climb.

Barney and Hattie enjoyed it too!

The natives eyed us suspiciously though!

Todays project was shed building with the help of my neighbour Jim, Barney thought he was being helpful but running off with my gloves and bringing out my slippers and dragging Jim's coat around the garden really wasn't very helpful. Now ache from head to foot from twisting and hammering for 5 hours!!! Oh well job done just need to empty the contents of the old one into the new one then I can dismantle the old one!! Needs a coat of paint but think I need some recovery time first!!

The weathers keeping me fit too, lots of gardening to do just have to pace myself as I don't want to set myself back again now the vertebra is finally starting to feel a bit more comfortable.

Lots of emails and phone calls to start getting some Auction Lots ready for the 12th July. As soon as I've got some really good ones confirmed I can get the posters done and start selling tickets. I will post a list nearer the time.

Time to get back on track!!

Mum's settled back at home now and is doing very well, getting around with the aid of her Zimmer or walking sticks, taking it a bit steady as she doesn't want to over do it and set herself back or worse end up back in hospital.

After a fairly relaxed weekend last week I needed to get back to work and catch up on things I'd put off while keeping an eye on Dad. Training took a bit of a back seat as well so need to up the anti now as time is marching on (no pun intended!!)

Coco and Jetter weren't very inspirational when it came to walkies and much preferred lounging around in the sunshine!

The weather this week has been perfect for catching up with some of the neglected gardens, this weeks training; pruning, raking (back didn't like that too much!) and weeding. Oh and started back at Line Dancing.

The sunshine also meant fantastic Sunsets captured on some lovely evening walks. Had to borrow Archie!!

Barnie back this week so will get some serious walking in and also got to introduce him to Hattie who loves chasing squirrels, not sure what she'll make of him.

Fund raising also resumed, the Auction will now be on Sunday 12th July at The Bath Function Rooms, above Green Park Brasserie more details available soon. Please let me know if you have any Auction Lots to donate.

Mad Hatter's Tea Party  is all sorted but is only open to friends and family, I will send details through if I have your email or let me know if you would like more details.

Flower Demonstrations are in the pipeline and a family fun day will be arranged for June.

Think I'll be starting at a GYM this week!!!

Hopefully things can get back on track

Mum was finally allowed home on Thursday after being a very reluctant 'Bed Blocker' for nearly a week! not her fault but the Care Industry is so hard pushed they couldn't give her the support she needed at home and only let her go when they could at least give her some support to be reviewed on Tuesday. She is doing very well but obviously not able to do as much for herself as she really wants too!

Lovely afternoon went on the Skyline Tour Bus (very cold!) but very enjoyable but not much of a 'work out' so just so as not to feel too lazy we went for a long walk afterwards up the Cotswold Way to Weston Village and then went back via Victoria Park.

Couldn't resist taking this photograph of the Cherry Blossom spotted on route, it is such a fantastic shape and must be a really good age judging by the size of the trunk. Love the way it almost follows the line of the hedge.

A couple of real posers spotted in the park!

Really need to get focused now and get back on track as there are only just over 5 months to go before the real thing!! Fund raising will be resumed in earnest and need to step the training up a notch or two.
