Only 11 weeks to go!!! Ahhhhh can't believe the time has gone so quickly and less than 3 weeks to the training weekend in Yorkshire.

Flower Demonstration was a great success. The new Civic Centre in Keynsham is a very nice space but as one wall is all glass when the sun comes round it gets very hot very quickly which would be fine if the Air Con was working!! So apart from being very hot it was a very good evening and nice to be doing my creative stuff.

Training going well, trying to fit as much in as possible but not always easy, borrowed a training stand for my bike so I can jump on it anytime I've got a spare 5 mins and pedal away watching all the wildlife in my garden (peskey rabbits are eating all my plants again). Had Barney and Archie for the weekend, Archie doesn't go far as he's arthritic.

So If Barney's going to pinch my bed I shall just have to go and seek attention from Carol instead!!

So me and Barney have had lots of lovely walks including Victoria Park in Bath which is where I photographed these Orchids on the bank under the trees, so tiny and delicate I'm sure hundreds of people don't even realise they are there and probably just walk past them. Barney did see a squirrel and tried to chase it but didn't get anywhere so he just ignored them after that!

Another Pub Games Night booked for Friday 21st August at the Belvoir Castle so start getting your teams together, it will be a different format to last time so hopefully will feel a bit more organised!!!

 

 

 

 

  

 

Remind me what I'm doing and why!!!

Stress level through the roof, sleepless nights, brain like cotton wool!!! I knew it wasn't going to be a walk in the park but I don't think I was expecting it to be quite soooo hard!
Well that off my chest now so back to normal.

Took the dog sitting to a higher level!

Buddy (totally uninterested) left Reg, right Harry. This mornings walk was interesting, leads ended up like a Maypole!!!

 



 Went for a cycling class this week only to find the time was wrong on the internet and I was 20 mins late! so went for run instead. Barney's loving his walks and so am I, good time to switch off for a while.

The Auction is all set still more lots to come! Rolfey all set just need more tickets sold so come on everyone it'll be a good fun night and you could pick up a bargain!!

Looking forward to entertaining everyone on Wednesday I've got some lovely Floral Designs to wow everyone with and I'm using all British grown flowers including some from my garden, my hall way smells lovely!!

Barney's been a bit under the weather so not wanting to go too far but he's brightened up a bit today after an outing to Winchester! So hopefully normal training will be resumed tomorrow.

Things are really starting to creep up now 12 weeks to go!!! Starting to get a bit panicky, what have I let myself in for!! Suddenly all starting to feel a bit too close no going back now!

Flower Demonstration and Auction Up-dates

Wednesday 24th June, 7 pm - 9 pm. At the Civic Hall, Keynsham. I will be doing a Spectacular Flower Demonstration, my aim is to use wide variety of English grown flowers and foliage, some of which will be from my garden, with hints and tips on how to make them last as long as possible and arrange them to there best advantage. I will do a range of different styles to inspire everyone to try and make their own creations at home and then finish with a show piece with plenty of wow factor. Message me for more information.

Auction night is well underway now Rolfey has confirmed he will be available as Auctioneer so that will be great fun. Rotork have confirmed a Balloon Flight for Auctioning so don't forget to reserve your tickets now for Sunday 12th July from 7.30 till midnight at The Bath Function Rooms, Green Park, Bath (above the Brasserie)  welcome drink and nibbles from 7.30, Auction from 8.30 followed by dancing till midnight to Limited Edition.

Last week's training has been a bit slow as I keep over doing it at work and end up with a very uncomfortable back again. Just as well my lovely blond trainer is back this week to get me back on track.

No excuse not to get lots of walking in can't believe it's only 6 and a half weeks till I go on my training weekend in Yorkshire! Don't think I dare count the weeks till I'm off to China!!!
